An integrated solution for evaluating powder materials and dry-process technologies for all-solid-state batteries in a glove box environment
The HIOKI Powder Impedance Measurement System is designed for R&D applications involving all-solid-state batteries for electric vehicles.
By simultaneously measuring the key parameters required for all-solid-state battery material evaluation and dry-process validation, the system significantly improves the safety and cost-effectiveness of material evaluation (*1). The system consists of a compact test stand, multiple measurement units, and integrated software, allowing measurements to be performed inside a glove box (*2). This not only improves operational safety but also reduces the risk of sample degradation caused by moisture absorption. At the same time, it lowers evaluation costs and shortens working time, allowing more experiments to be conducted.
This versatile Powder Impedance Measurement System, designed to improve work efficiency, is expected to become an innovative tool for all-solid-state battery research in electric vehicles.
*1 Dry process: A manufacturing method in which powder materials are processed directly without using solvents to produce electrodes.
*2 Glove box: A small sealed enclosure that isolates the experimental environment from the outside. Gloves are attached to the enclosure, allowing safe manual operations to be performed inside.
