The R&S®SGS100A is a half-19", 1U ultra-compact vector RF signal source from Rohde & Schwarz SGMA family, optimized for automated ATE mass production lines, multi-channel phased array/beamforming systems and batch inspection of miniature RF modules. It has no local display and is fully controlled via the PC-based SGMA-GUI software, serving as a cost-efficient multi-channel signal building block.

Native frequency coverage spans 1 MHz to 12.75 GHz, split into 6 GHz and 12.75 GHz software-licensed variants. An optional integrated I/Q vector modulation baseband enables generation of wideband vector signals for 5G NR, Wi‑Fi and radar pulses. When paired with the matching R&S®SGU100A upconverter, the combined system seamlessly extends coverage to 10 MHz ~ 40 GHz mmWave. Both instruments share identical GUI and SCPI command sets, exposing only one unified RF output, behaving identically to a single integrated microwave vector source
