The Mi-BEAM Series is AMETEK Sorensen’s new-generation high-power regenerative bidirectional DC test power supply, built on a compact 4U rack modular architecture. Single unit power tiers include 12.5kW, 25kW and 37.5kW; parallel stacking scales the total system power up to 1.2MW (extended parallel configuration supports over 8.6MW). It integrates full DC source & regenerative electronic sink functions with up to 95% energy recovery efficiency and seamless instant source-sink mode transition. Equipped with true extended autoranging output, it expands available voltage and current coverage within full rated power range.
