The i-BEAM Series is AMETEK Sorensen’s floor-standing ultra-high-power integrated bidirectional DC test platform, developed for energy storage, vehicle battery packs, heavy commercial EVs, marine and aerospace high-voltage DC testing, positioned above the rack-mounted Mi-BEAM series. Single unit power ranges from 60kW to 650kW, and multi-cabinet parallel expansion reaches up to 1.3MW. It supports 1/2/4-channel multi-channel shared DC bus architecture; channels can share internal DC bus energy up to 2MW to drastically cut grid power draw losses
