The KIKUSUI TOS6210 is a high-current ground bond continuity tester upgraded from the TOS6200 series, expanding the maximum test current from 30A to 60A to fully satisfy 60A protective earth test requirements defined in UL60950-1, IEC60601, IEC60335 and other global safety standards.

It adopts a constant-current drive circuit to output low-distortion AC test current, supporting two standard-compliant judgment modes: resistance threshold judgment and voltage drop judgment. Built-in practical functions include lead offset cancellation, contact check, storage for up to 100 test sequences and multi-step programmable test cycles. Standard GPIB and RS232C communication ports enable standalone lab operation or cascading with hipot & insulation testers to form fully automatic safety compliance test systems.

This instrument verifies the continuity between equipment protective earth terminals, metal enclosures and grounding paths, simulating fault leakage scenarios to confirm the ground circuit can safely divert hazardous fault current, an essential device for product certification and mass production quality inspection.
