The Prosund OCA Series Optical Component Analyzer is a modular optoelectronic test extension platform built on microwave photon conversion technology. It must work with Prosund SP800P / SP850P series vector network analyzers to form a complete optoelectronic test system, designed for full-spectrum response characterization of electro-optic (EO), opto-electric (OE) and optical-optical (OO) devices including optical communication components, silicon photonic chips, EO modulators, photodetectors, passive fiber components and integrated photonic chips.
Equipped with high-precision wideband EO modulation light source and high-sensitivity optical receiver modules, it covers standard communication optical wavelengths 1270~1610 nm, with RF operating frequency from 900 Hz to 67 GHz. Bidirectional E/O and O/E conversion maps microwave vector sweeps to optical wavelength scans. Dedicated optoelectronic calibration kits eliminate conversion loss and chromatic dispersion errors, overcoming the limitations of traditional optical spectrum analyzers: coarse wavelength step, insufficient receiving sensitivity and inability to measure amplitude-phase S-parameters synchronously.
