The KIKUSUI TOS5200 is an economical single-function AC hipot tester with 5kV AC output, designed for basic dielectric strength testing of small home appliances, power adapters, PCBs and wiring harnesses, complying with IEC60335, IEC60950, GB4706, UL60950 and other global safety standards.

It adopts lightweight line-frequency boost topology with low-distortion sine wave output. Equipped with full high-voltage safety mechanisms including ARC flashover detection, Charge-Low open-circuit detection, forced post-test discharge and hardware overvoltage/overcurrent interlock. Users can customize ramp/dwell/fall time from 0.1s to 999.9s, with internal memory for 3 sets of test sequences, ideal for mass sampling inspection.

Standard Remote I/O port supports external start/stop control; optional RS232C / GPIB interfaces enable PLC & PC integration for semi-automatic test stations. Slim 2U rack-mount chassis fits bench and cabinet installation, a cost-effective solution for basic hipot testing with limited budget.
