FiberLert is Fluke’s pocket-sized non-contact infrared live fiber detector, engineered for pre-test safety inspection during data center maintenance and cabling deployment. Its core purpose is to identify active traffic signals before firing test lasers from OTDR / Fiber QuickMap, preventing expensive live transceiver damage, while quickly sorting Tx/Rx strands and verifying fiber polarity.

Equipped with contactless sensing probe, it detects 850~1625nm full telecom near-infrared wavelengths without mating to fiber end-faces. Steady red LED + optional audible tone alert activates once live light is detected; zero setup or calibration required for instant operation.
