The XEL series is Sorensen entry-level cost-effective all-linear benchtop DC power supply, designed for university teaching labs, electronics maintenance and basic analog circuit debugging. It adopts full linear regulation topology without high-frequency switching noise and delivers ultra-low output ripple. Natural convection cooling enables silent fanless operation.

The lineup includes single-output and dual galvanically isolated models with standard 0–30 V output and maximum 2 A per channel. Two channels are fully electrically isolated, supporting series connection for higher voltage and parallel connection for larger current to build bipolar power rails. The front panel features coarse/fine dual voltage knobs and single current knob, with LED digital meters to display voltage and current simultaneously. Automatic CV constant voltage / CC constant current crossover is indicated by status lamps.
