Keithley 2601B-PULSE 10 µs Pulse Generator SMU

The brand-new 2601B-Pulse System Digital Source Meter (10 μs Pulse Generator / SMU) adopts advanced pulse measurement technology that integrates industry-leading high-current / high-speed pulse generator capabilities with all full functions of a conventional SMU.

This new pulse generator can output pulsed current up to 10 A with a minimum pulse width under the 10 V voltage range, making it ideal for VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) LiDAR, facial recognition systems, LED lighting & displays, semiconductor device characterization, overload protection testing and more.

Built-in dual 1 MS/s 18-bit digitizers enable the instrument to capture high-speed pulsed current and voltage waveforms simultaneously without requiring additional standalone equipment.

The 2601B-Pulse serves as a powerful solution that drastically boosts testing productivity, covering applications ranging from benchtop lab testing to fully automated pulsed production test lines.

For automated system deployment, the Test Script Processor (TSP) of the 2601B-Pulse executes complete test routines onboard the instrument to deliver industry-leading throughput.

For multi-channel test setups, Keithley TSP-Link technology works in tandem with its multi-unit synchronization function to support high-speed parallel testing of each pin via individual pulse generator/SMU channels.

As the 2601B-Pulse operates fully independently without relying on a master controller, it can be easily reconfigured and redeployed to adapt to evolving test application requirements.
