The Rohde & Schwarz HMP series are cost-effective multi-channel programmable DC power supplies with linear post-regulation under R&S Essentials line, split into two power tiers: HMP2000 series (2-channel HMP2020, 3-channel HMP2030, total 188 W) and HMP4000 series (3-channel HMP4030, 4-channel HMP4040, total 384 W).

All models share unified 0~32 V adjustable output per channel; all channels are galvanically isolated floating outputs with UI-Tracking synchronous linking for flexible series high-voltage or parallel high-current operation. The hybrid topology combines high-efficiency pre-regulation plus linear post-regulation, delivering ultra-low output ripple and fast load transient response, merging the high efficiency of switching supplies and clean low-noise performance of linear supplies.
