The EEC 7630 is a flagship dedicated touch & leakage current tester developed by Taiwan EEC, designed for safety compliance testing of medical, AV/IT, home appliance and EV charger products. It fully complies with global leakage current standards including IEC60990, medical IEC60601-1, IEC60335, IEC60950 and IEC60065.

It integrates 7 built-in standard human-body simulation MD networks plus 8 fault condition simulation modes, with an optional external MD expansion channel. It covers all mandatory medical test items: patient leakage current, auxiliary leakage current, enclosure touch current and protective conductor current. Measuring bandwidth spans DC to 1 MHz, capturing AC, DC and composite AC+DC leakage simultaneously, while displaying both touch current and MD network voltage for full standard-compliant calibration.

Equipped with a large 320×240 color graphic LCD, it stores up to 50 programmable test sequences with max 30 configurable steps each. It supports heavy-duty DUT loads up to 277 Vac / 40 Arms, withstanding 250A peak inrush current without interlock shutdown, ideal for full-load hot leakage testing of high-power therapy equipment, industrial power supplies and EV chargers.

Swappable modular MD networks with BNC monitor ports simplify external calibration via oscilloscope or voltmeter. Standard communication ports include LAN, USB, RS232 and GPIB for standalone operation or cascading with ESA safety testers to build an all-in-one automated safety test system combining hipot, IR, ground bond and touch current functions for mass production lines and certification labs.
