The EEC 7470 series is a high-performance high-voltage hipot tester developed for ultra-high insulation materials, high-voltage components and insulated hand tools, with maximum output up to 20kV AC/DC and current resolution as fine as 1μA. It complies with strict high-voltage insulation standards including IEC 60900 and GB/T 18269 for insulated live-working tools, photovoltaic, new energy, aerospace, transformers and capacitors.

It integrates five patented core safety functions: Smart GFI ground fault interlock anti-electric shock protection, ARC flashover detection, fast discharge, adjustable voltage ramp limit and charge low limit. It captures tiny insulation discharge and breakdown within milliseconds to screen latent defective units and prevent long-term dielectric failure in field use.

Uninterrupted continuous voltage adjustment supports 3-minute long-duration endurance aging tests as required by international standards. Up to 50 multi-step programmable test sequences are stored internally, with loop linking between programs for cyclic testing. A 20×2 dot-matrix LCD and key lock function avoid accidental misoperation.

Standard communication ports include RS232, USB and PLC HANDLER; optional GPIB and printer card are available with full SCPI command support. It can run standalone for R&D lab evaluation or integrate into fully automatic ATE production lines for unattended mass testing with automatic data logging and export.

Full output voltage regulation accuracy ≤1% delivers superior measurement precision, ideal for reliability verification of insulating gloves, insulating sticks, high-voltage capacitors, motor windings, connectors, medical high-voltage assemblies and cable insulation layers.
