For electric mobility (E-Mobility), represented by new energy vehicles, extending driving range is one of the most important challenges. To achieve this, it is necessary not only to understand the status of the battery and high-power powertrain system, but also to monitor the power consumption and dark current of components such as ECUs and electrical equipment.
This case study introduces a solution that uses HIOKI data acquisition instruments to measure the current consumption and dark current of various components, including ECUs and electrical equipment in new energy vehicles, and applies the measurement data to overall vehicle energy consumption management.
