Solving range anxiety for electric vehicles has always been a key challenge. Among various approaches such as increasing battery capacity, battery swapping, and fast charging, fast charging has become a mainstream solution. 4C charge-rate power batteries have been mass-produced and installed in vehicles, and 5C to 6C batteries will soon become mainstream. Electric vehicles are accelerating towards high-voltage ultra-fast charging, with voltage platforms trending from 400V to 800V.

The development of fast charging will drive upgrades to high-voltage components in vehicles and charging systems, improving power density and efficiency. Components also face challenges in voltage endurance, power loss, and high-temperature resistance. At the same time, key testing areas such as efficiency testing and temperature rise limit measurement present new challenges for test and measurement equipment manufacturers.
